TMC Creates Chief Safety Technology Officer Post for Vehicle Safety Technology Development

Toyota City, Japan, April 1, 2011—Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) established today the post of chief safety technology officer (CSTO) and appointed to it Managing Officer Moritaka Yoshida. The newly created post will comprehensively coordinate Toyota's safety technologies and is aimed at speeding up decision-making and further strengthening global external communication abilities in the field of vehicle safety technology development.
