iQ 2010: A new level of perceived quality, new interior ambiance and multidrive-s transmission with 1.33 VVT-i engine

— A new level of perceived interior quality and a refreshed ambiance with two, urban-chic colour schemes

— Multidrive-S advanced automatic transmission is now available with the 1.33L VVT-i engine

The iQ 2010 range benefits from a new level of perceived quality of the interior, and a refreshed ambiance which offers customers a choice of two, urban-chic colour schemes.

The higher quality of the iQ interior is hallmarked by a softer, black upper door trim with an improved grain texture, new black upper and lower instrument panel sections and updated seat fabric colours. Perceived quality is further enhanced by the addition of silver manual air conditioning dials and tweeter surrounds, and a chrome, passenger-side dashboard.

A new, refreshing Light Grey interior colour scheme features a high-gloss black centre console with Bento box-style lacquered Red accent, high-gloss black door inserts and meter visor, and a leather steering wheel with red stitching.

The combination of a polished black dashboard and red inserts evokes the tradition of the Japanese Bento lunch box.

A Bento is not simply a lunch box, it is an expression of Japanese ingenuity in daily use. It combines the perfect resolution of compact space organisation with the highest quality materials and finishes, making it the ideal representation of the innovative design values inherent in the new iQ interior.

The existing Plum colour scheme features a mat Silver centre console and door inserts, a black and silver meter visor and a leather steering wheel. A choice of two complimentary, partial-leather seat colours is available with each interior colour schemes.
