Toyota Auris: Class-leading sales growth in the European C-segment
- Auris sales increase 32%, whilst segment drops by 12%
- Auris Hybrid is key, with 50% of 2013 volume ordered in first 2 months
In its first complete month of sales, the new Toyota Auris has achieved market-leading growth in the European C-segment, as illustrated in data recently released by Automotive News Europe.
While the segment fell by 12% overall, sales of the new Auris grew by 32% compared to the same period last year.
This success is reinforced by the sales performance of the new Auris Hybrid where, in just two months, Toyota has received orders for half of its planned annual volume.
