Toyota launches new 'Cool Blue' and 'Two-Tone' 2013 AYGO special editions

Each year since the AYGO's launch in 2005, Toyota has introduced a special edition of its popular A-segment supermini featuring an exclusive body colour and a unique, matching interior.

Following the success of last year's 'Spice' edition, Toyota is launching a choice of 'Cool Blue' or 'Two-Tone' AYGO special editions for 2013.

The 'Cool Blue' special edition is available in 3 body colours —a new, namesake, metallic blue, anthracite and white. Each colour choice is complemented by eye-catching metallic blue exterior mirrors, door handles and interior trim accents.

The interior features unique metallic blue and Black Boston dark grey fabric upholstery and matching bright blue trim rings for the air vents, speaker surrounds, speedometer and optional tachometer. A leather steering wheel with bright blue contrast stitching is available as an option.

The 'Two-Tone' special edition introduces a red body colour with a distinctive black roof.

The interior features matching black trim rings for the air vents, speedometer and the optional tachometer, whilst speaker surrounds are finished with silver rings. The cabin is further upgraded by 'Two-Tone'-unique, dark grey and black fabric upholstery.

New 8-spoke Ragno 14" alloy wheels will be available for both special editions.

The optional Connect touch-screen navigation system combines Bluetooth hands-free calling, iPod and USB connectivity with a portable TomTom GPS system that folds seamlessly into a dashboard docking unit.

AYGO benefits from a comprehensive range of safety equipment, including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), curtain shield airbags, side airbags, ISOFIX seat fixing and a front passenger seatbelt reminder, fitted as standard across the entire model range.
