Monica Perez Lobo (she/her) is Vice President Sustainability at Toyota Motor Europe.
Monica joined Toyota Motor Europe as Network Development Manager in 2005.
In 2007, she moved to Toyota Spain where she held a succession of leading roles as General Manager Customer Processes, General Manager Lexus Customer Experience & After Sales, and then General Manager Dealer Development.
She returned to Toyota Motor Europe in 2016 as General Manager Digital Centre of Excellence and was promoted to Director Customer Experience in 2018. Monica was appointed Director Sustainability and ESG Management in 2020, and in 2022, she was promoted to Vice President Corporate Affairs & Sustainability. In June 2025, Monica assumed the role of Vice President of Sustainability, dedicating her expertise and experience to shaping effective strategies in this critical area.
Before joining Toyota Motor Europe in 2005, Monica experienced various positions in consulting firms such as Accenture and Urban Science.
With over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and consulting, Monica combines her solid hands-on experience with a profound knowledge of the automotive business. Her achievements are in the areas of strategic development, customer experience, business and digital transformation and sustainability.
In 2016, Automotive News recognised Monica as one of the top 25 leading women in the European automotive industry. Furthermore, Monica was selected by the Automotive News Europe as one of the Eurostar 2023 award winners for her leadership in Toyota Motor Europe's sustainability integration from the corporate, social and communication perspectives.
Monica was born in Madrid (Spain) and graduated from Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid (ICADE E-3) with a dual degree in Law, Business Administration and Management.
She is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys family life, reading and travelling.
