Toyota announces the introduction of 2 new apps on its Toyota Touch 2 with Go infotainment system — AUPEO! and Coyote. This new functionality will be introduced with the launch of the new 2014 Yaris, but will also be available for other Toyota models equipped with Touch 2 with Go and Go Plus (currently available on Verso-S, Auris, Corolla, Verso, Avensis, RAV4, Land Cruiser 150, Highlander and Hilux).

AUPEO! is the first audio app to be integrated in Toyota vehicles. It delivers over 200 curated radio stations from all genres and time periods. Yaris drivers will have access to all core functions, such as the unique personalisation engine that allows them to adjust the soundtrack to their car journey according to their tastes and moods.

Toyota customers will benefit from a 30-day free trial period during which they can experience all AUPEO! Premium features. After that, they can either subscribe to the Premium service, or keep enjoying AUPEO! for free but with reduced functionality.

Coyote uses community-sourced information to alert drivers of stopped traffic, potentially dangerous traffic zones and the presence of fixed and mobile safety cameras, allowing them to anticipate and adjust their driving accordingly.

Both apps will be available from October 2014 onwards on Toyota's customer portal, my.toyota.eu.
