Brussels, 4 September 2025 – The UCI World Para-Cycling Championship, held in Ronse, Belgium from Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 August 2025, was a global celebration of athleticism, perseverance, and inclusive sport. Over four days, para-athletes from 51 countries competed in a range of disciplines, from individual time trials to mixed handcycle relays, across sport classes tailored to their needs. The event included 328 riders with impairments, who delivered an exhilarating display of elite performance and international camaraderie.

As a key partner, Toyota supported the event with a dedicated fleet of over 30 vehicles, a lounge where athletes could rest and recharge, and a showcase of mobility innovations including Yosh-e, C+ Walk T, and C+ Walk S. Thirteen Toyota volunteers also lent their time and energy to help ensure a smooth experience for all. These contributions reflected Toyota’s broader belief that mobility should empower everyone, regardless of ability.

I had a wonderful day and was deeply moved by the incredible talent and spirit of mutual support on display. Witnessing the athletes in action reminded me how sport can unite and uplift. When mobility solutions are designed to meet diverse needs, they truly empower everyone to participate, perform, and thrive.
