Toyota Manufacturing UK apprentices excellence shines through

Following five days of intense competition in the World Skills competition 2015, two Toyota Manufacturing UK Apprentices representing the UK, Andy Smith and Robyn Clarke, have received medallions of excellence on behalf of the country.

The latest World Skills Competition was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil earlier this month and saw over 1,000 apprentices compete in 50 different skills. The World Skills Competition is held every two years and is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in the world. The competitors represent the best of their peers they demonstrate technical abilities both individually and collectively for which they study in their workplace. The medallions of excellence are given to competitors who demonstrate the attainment of world-class standards in their chosen skill.
