Toyota Motor Europe announces executive changes, effective January 1, 2023

Brussels, 5 December 2022 – Toyota Motor Europe (TME) announces a number of executive level appointments at its European Headquarters and Affiliates to continue its journey of transforming into a mobility company. All changes are effective 1st January 2023.

Toyota Motor Europe (TME)

  • Mr. Gerald Killmann, currently Senior Vice President, R&D and Purchasing, TME, will be appointed as Senior Vice President, R&D, Purchasing and Fuel Cell Business, TME.
  • Mr. Thiebault Paquet, currently Head of Powertrain, R&D2, and concurrently assigned to Head of Fuel Cell Business at TME has been promoted to Vice President, R&D2, concurrently assigned to Head of Fuel Cell Business, TME.
  • Mr. Tatsuya Namura, currently Executive Advisor to TME Vice President Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, will return to Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan.

Toyota Norway (TNO)

  • Mr. Piotr Pawlak, currently Technical Head of Special Projects at TME, will be appointed as President of Toyota Norway. He succeeds to Mr. Dimitris Tripospitis who will return to TME as Head of Lexus Europe.
